First to announce, we have a true legend in precision driving and one of Britain’s best stunt drivers, Alastair Moffatt.
Alistair is a multiple British Autotest Champion, having clinched the prestigious British Autotest Championship title 10 times, an extraordinary testament to his skill, consistency, and dedication behind the wheel.
Beyond championship success, Alistair is internationally recognised for his work as a professional stunt driver and precision driving instructor, bringing automotive artistry to live shows, television and film. He also holds an impressive collection of Guinness World Records for some of the most demanding car control feats ever attempted. These include records for the tightest single, double, triple and reverse parallel parking manoeuvres, the narrowest gap driven through by two cars on two wheels, and the fastest time to complete five figure‑of‑eights around two cars.
We’re honoured to hear from a driver who has not only dominated the Autotest scene but has also pushed the boundaries of precision driving performance on the world stage.
We are also delighted to welcome a local lad who’s gone on to make a real mark in British motorsport, Rob Cotton.
Rob has made a name for himself in the British Rally Championship, particularly in the highly competitive National Rally category, where his consistent pace and determination earned him the 2025 BRC National Rally title in his Subaru Impreza. After a season‑long battle and a faultless performance at the Cambrian Rally finale in Wales, Rob sealed this coveted championship win with nerve and skill under pressure. Earlier in the season, he also claimed class victories on showcasing his talent against tough competition and mixing strongly overall against higher‑powered machinery along the way.
What makes Rob’s story even more inspiring is that he’s one of our own; someone from the local rallying scene who has worked tirelessly, developed his craft, and now stands out as a young driver to watch in the years ahead.
And finally, it is an honour to welcome to this year’s panel a true stalwart of the rallying world.
Kevin Furber is one of the most respected voices in the sport; a seasoned journalist, commentator, and presenter whose deep passion for rallying is matched only by his experience behind the wheel. But Kevin’s connection with rallying goes far beyond storytelling. He started his journey on our local lanes at 17 years old road rallying before, in the late 1980s and early 1990s, moving on to compete at the sharp end of British and international rallying, earning works drives with Peugeot and taking on some of the toughest events of the era.
During his time in Peugeot machinery, Kevin notched strong performances across iconic events. In the 1990 Lombard RAC Rally, driving a Peugeot 205 Rallye for the works‑supported team, he brought the car home with the A5 class win and 23rd place overall; a solid showing in one of the most competitive rounds of the World Rally Championship.
That depth of first‑hand experience, as both a competitor and an expert observer, gives Kevin a unique perspective on our sport, one built on real stages, real battles and real camaraderie.
He brings that insight to life as our guest speaker and panel anchor, guiding us through discussions with clarity, passion and a lifetime’s love for rallying.
